I really enjoy mobile development as of late especially with most phones (Android + iPhone) supporting modern web-kit browser based rendering engines. What this means is that new technologies such as CSS3 + HTML5 can be leveraged into these solutions and that is just plain awesome. Then when you couple this technologies with jQuery and jQTouch the kind of applications you can build without even using the iPhone or Android SDK. I find jQTouch in particular to be a well crafted program giving a very polished feel to any designed web applications.

I am a web developer who has been working in this incredibly fast paced field for about 7 years. I started as a developer for the Government of Canada, and am currently employed by an established web development firm (Vurtur Communications) in Ottawa. During all these previous years I have also been working as a freelancer focusing on a close personal relationship between small - mid size clients. I believe in minimalistic designs, clean maintained code and open standards.
